Retirement

I retired, loosely speaking, some time around April 2014. Leaving self-employment is never an easy, cut-and-dried event. I had customers who still wanted my services and I enjoyed the buzz of the work. It was nice not to have to worry about all the ‘file-servers’ and the larger companies, I could just see a couple of my smaller clients.

I am now able to spend more time on my narrow-boat and that is what I enjoy. Judy & I have had some good holidays - we went to Australia for Adrian & Sasha’s wedding and combined it with the ticking off of a bucket list whilst there. We saw relatives we have never met, we saw the little penguins coming ashore on Philip Island, we saw koalas in trees on Raymond Island, we saw kangaroos asleep on the beach, rays in the sea, pelicans on lap posts, emus - the list goes on…

I have bought myself a little MX-5 and we did an open toppped trip down the Rhine Valley, Black Forest & Moselle Valley.

Work in progress…
